Rooster, 2018

oil on canvas, 60 x 80 cm

signed and dated on the front

Rooster is the character which started the whole Pareidolias series.
A scene that was noticed by chance: a plastic bag screwed into the spokes of a bicycle, felt visually strong enough to get transferred onto canvas. The rooster is a creature of an instant, the accidental product of our times. Plastic-covered, limited in movement and unstable in form, however, he doesn't remain worthless. For example, he can create music.
